The Amy is a 141-unit affordable student housing development located in SW Portland, walking distance from Portland State University. This project consists of five stories wood frame construction over a post-tensioned concrete podium and parking garage. Throughout the building, there are common kitchens and lounges, laundry facilities, and common area spaces. Outdoor space for residents is captured in a large private courtyard with a fire pit, BBQ area, and seating areas.
Urban Resources, Inc, was engaged during construction by College Housing Northwest (CHNW), and the building opened in Spring 2019.
