Homeroom Apartments is a mixed-use building conveniently located at SE Stark and 14th Avenue in the Buckman neighborhood. Previously the quarter block site had two buildings on it, a 12-unit apartment building and an auto repair shop, both of which were demolished when construction started in Summer of 2017.
The new building consists of a 39-unit four-story apartment building with a corner retail space, lobby/lounge, bike room storage and repair station, pet wash station, 12 secured parking spots and two car charging stations on the ground level. The exterior skin is a combination of brick, metal panel, composite panel accents at the ground level and large windows. The apartments include a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units including three units on the ground floor with their own exterior entries and patios. Seven units have balconies and six have juliets. Homeroom Apartments is also conveniently located near restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and a music venue.
Urban Resources, Inc. (URI) served as the Owner’s Representative during pre-construction and construction until completion in Fall of 2018.
