Urban Resources, Inc. (URI) was hired by Vesta Hospitality to provide Owner’s Representative services throughout the design and construction phases of a new AC Hotel by Marriott at Block D in the Port of Vancouver’s Terminal 1 Development. The AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront is a 7-story concrete structure with 150 guestrooms, 160 stalls of structured parking, and was certified LEED Gold. Designed by DLR Group, the hotel features a large ballroom overlooking the Columbia River, meeting space on the 7th floor, a retail space on the ground floor, and multiple amenities for guests to enjoy. Construction began in October 2020 and the hotel opened to the public in June 2022.
